Seth Lovis, Managing Partner
Seth founded Seth Lovis & Co Solicitors in 2000.
His specialist fields of law include personal injury, industrial disease litigation, product liability and commercial litigation. Seth has handled many prominent, multi-million pound cases, including cases at the House of Lords. He is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
Outside of work, Seth enjoys going to France with his wife and 3 children, good food and wine, playing football with his two young sons and has recently started flying lessons.

Gavin Hughes, Partner
Gavin joined Seth Lovis & Co shortly after the firm was founded, having worked with Seth at a previous firm. Gavin's specialist legal areas are personal injury and occupational disease, with many years experience of successfully prosecuting personal injury claims and advising major insurance companies. He is a member of The Law Society Personal Injury Panel and is also accredited as a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Outside of work Gavin enjoys squash (ex. County League player), running (intending to better his 3:26 for the London Marathon) and is a beleaguered Leeds United supporter.

Jonathan Tyler, Partner
Jonathan also joined the firm shortly after it was founded, having previously worked at a medium sized commercial practice in the West End.
He specialises in Commercial Litigation and Property Litigation, having extensive experience in both disciplines.
Outside of work Jonathan has hung up the rugby boots but remains a keen supporter. He still enjoys cricket, golf and cycling during the summer months. Despite results he remains an optimistic Luton Town FC supporter.

John Jackiewicz, Partner
John joined Seth Lovis & Co in 2005 with the task of expanding the industrial disease department. Having successfully built up a large case-load joined was invited to be a partner of the firm in 2009.
Johns specialist field of law is industrial disease in which he has 20 years experience having previously represented trade union members in the North East of England and across the Midlands. John has successfully won compensation for hundreds of clients diagnosed with Mesothelioma and Asbestosis. John is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
Outside of work John enjoys ice skating with his twin children and is confident that his beloved Newcastle United FC can survive relegation from the Premier League this time around.
