Many organisations will never encounter tribunal proceedings but if an ex-employee issues a claim then you have just 28 days to file your Response. If you fail to reply in time, the employee will in all likelihood receive judgment in their favour.
The response you file is key to defending the claim and it is therefore important to take advice at this early stage.
