Shareholder Dispute & Partnership Dispute

Shareholder disputes and partnership disputes arise through conflict often causing significant disruption to the business. We are very familiar with legal and commercial issues surrounding shareholder disputes and recognise the importance of a quick resolution, where possible.

Disputes often arise over

  • the interpretation of an agreement or clause within an agreement
  • the value of a shareholding in a company
  • the terms of a partnership agreement in the absence of a written partnership deed
  • the rights and remedies of a shareholder or partner for breach of agreement
  • the best way to exit a partnership agreement

Litigation in such disputes should be a last resort. We will consider the best way of resolving the dispute through negotiations or appropriate Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques which may be quicker and cheaper, but if litigation is necessary we have the expertise. We advise on the best course of action to achieve a prompt and effective solution.

We are located within minutes of the Royal Courts of Justice and within easy reach of the inner London County Courts.
